Our extension to Farringdon House took the form of two hipped gables in order to accommodate glazing positions on the first floor level. The proposal was purposefully set at a lower level to the existing ground floor which, when combined with the dramatic vaulted ceilings, created an expansive open plan space housing a new kitchen, dining and living area.

The interior material palette was kept visually light in order to contrast against the darker coloured ceilings. A double set of bespoke crittall doors frame views out towards the grounds and provide access to an extensive terrace.
