Park Crescent

The existing dwelling had not been worked on for a number of years and was purchased by a young family who sought more space through the introduction of modern additions. A complete renovation resulted in a thermally improved envelope complete with new windows, doors and cladding systems through out. An air source heat pump was installed alongside PV solar tiles that blend in with the surrounding roofscape.

A significant part of the design concept was the new single storey rear extension. Creating a clean connection between the internal and external spaces was of paramount importance to the clients, hence the specification of corner sliding doors that were carefully engineered to omit the structural post.
